Italian National Bioethics Committee/ NBC – Comitato Nazionale per la Bioetica
The Italian National Bioethics Committee (NBC – Comitato Nazionale per la Bioetica, Roma) is established by a decree signed by the President of the Council of Ministers. Main tasks are expressing opinions about bioethics, help to prepare legislative acts by addressing the ethical and legal problems as possible result of progress in scientific research and technological applications on life. NBC formulates opinions and motions, which are published on the website (abstracts and complete text documents).
